UNIPOL: Unimodular sequence design via a separable iterative quartic polynomial optimization for active sensing systems

Sequences having better autocorrelation properties play a crucial role in enhancing the performance of active sensing systems. Hence, sequences with good are very much demand. In this paper, we addressed problem designing unimodular sequence side-lobe levels. We formulated it as constrained optimization comprising Integrated Side-lobe Level (ISL) metric and then proposed an effective algorithm (named UNIPOL - UNImodular design via separable iterative quartic POLynomial optimization) where perform polynomial at every iteration. The novelty paper comes from deriving majorization function that is variables can be minimized parallelly. To evaluate our numerical experiments for different lengths confirm one fastest algorithms to attain actual optimum minimizer ISL metric.
